Job Summary
We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a Drama Teacher for a full-time role from 20th March until July 2026. The school is looking for a modern practitioner who can incorporate contemporary techniques into their teaching.
About the School This is a modern mixed 1118 school that embraces technology and new pedagogical approaches. The drama department is well-equipped with lighting and sound technology and the school encourages teachers to use these resources to create immersive learning experiences.
The Role The teacher will be encouraged to bring fresh ideas to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum perhaps incorporating elements of physical theatre or digital media. The role involves full teaching responsibilities including planning marking and participating in the wider life of the school.
Requirements
QTS and a degree in a relevant field.
An innovative approach to the Drama curriculum and student engagement.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Salary M1 UPS3 () per annum pro-rata.
