Tekōwhiringa The Opportunity

With continued growth across the region were looking for an experienced Civil Drainlayer to join our work whānau in New Plymouth.

This is a hands-on role where youll be out in the trench delivering essential infrastructure that keeps communities running.

Your day-to-day will include:

Construction of wastewater stormwater and drainage assets
Installation of PVC PE and concrete pipes manholes catchpits and chambers
Working across wastewater and stormwater projects
Reading and interpreting plans drawings and specifications
Confined space work and live network tie-ins

Important Skills Nga Pūkenga Matu

If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy being part of a tight-knit crew who get the job done safely and to a high standard - we want to hear from you. We are also looking for someone who:

Holds a recognised drainlaying qualification
Has proven experience in stormwater and wastewater infrastructure
Has knowledge of 3 Waters (potable water experience is a bonus)
Is confident working hands-on - not just supervising
Communicates well and works effectively within a team
Has a strong safety and quality focus
Holds a Full Class 1 or 2 drivers licence
Can plan ahead think on their feet and respond to unexpected challenges
