Job Summary
Whitin Intermediate School is seeking a positive energetic and knowledgeable Assistant Coach to support our Middle School Co-Ed Track & Field program (grades 6-7). The Assistant Coach will help foster skill development sportsmanship teamwork and a love of competition while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all student-athletes with differing levels of ability and knowledge of the positions works under the general supervision of the Principal Athletic Director and Head Coach. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices for middle school student-athletesProvide instruction in track and field events (sprints distance relays hurdles jumps throws etc.)Supervise student-athletes during practices and meetsPromote good sportsmanship teamwork and character developmentEnsure the safety of all participants and proper use of equipmentSupport meet preparation event coordination and athlete performance trackingCommunicate effectively with athletes parents coaching staff and administrationAttend all scheduled practices and meets****************************************************************************************************************************My application affirms that I have read and understand that the information which I have provided with this application process and the accompanying resume is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
