In this role youll support the delivery of a variety of Civil Construction projects throughout Otago. We are currently delivering work ranging from Bridges Commercial/Industrial Foundations Wastewater Pump Stations and Retaining Walls.

You will be:

Involved with set up planning quality control and pulling together resource to complete the project
Interpreting contract documentation into a work instruction to communicate to crews to allow them to build it
Focusing on quality and compliance of projects and make sure they are built to spec
Undertaking technical hands-on activities as required

Were looking for someone with:

Bachelor or Diploma of Civil Engineering
Experience and a great understanding within civil construction relating to bridge building piling temporary works building retaining structures concrete formwork concrete spall repairs and concrete placing/finishing
Minimum 2 years experience as a Graduate Engineer
Full Class 1 driver licence
Knowledge of underlying engineering principles that represent good practice with NZ Civil
An understanding of project management principles
