Join Our Emergency Medicine Team in Bay City MI

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to join our float pool for emergency medicine coverage in Bay City Michigan. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions.
• Perform necessary procedures including suturing incision and drainage and managing respiratory issues.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Take part in ongoing training and orientation as needed.
• Document patient care effectively and efficiently in the electronic health record.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine preferred but Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ED experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency experience required.
• Must have a current Michigan medical license.
• Current certifications in ACLS BLS and PALS are mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and make quick decisions.
• Clean background for swift credentialing.
• Local candidates preferred; must provide availability upon application.

License & Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license (no exceptions).
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or documentation of equivalent experience.
• Current ACLS BLS and PALS certifications are required; ATLS certification for certain specialties may be accepted.
• Documentation of flu vaccination and other health requirements as specified.
