Job Summary

Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physicians in Grand Ledge MI

Join a dynamic healthcare team creating a Float Pool of providers to fill open PRN shifts in the Grand Ledge area. This facility provides a comprehensive range of emergency services and is committed to high-quality patient care. With a projected annual ER volume of 15000 visits you will be part of a fast-paced environment handling an average of 40 patients a day by the end of your first year. The practice is equipped with 24/7 lab and radiology services and has surgical services available at a nearby location.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients.
Participate in shift coverage for 12-hour shifts both day and night.
Manage and attend to an average of 20 patients per day initially increasing to 40 patients per day by the end of the first year.
Collaborate with staff on lab and imaging results to ensure quality patient care.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and timely.
Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
Current Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
Valid Michigan medical license.
Open to new graduates.
Documented proof of NPDB self-query required at presentation.

License and Certification Requirements:

Must hold an active Michigan medical license (MI).
ATLS certification must be current and valid.
Immunization records are required including Hep B MMR Varicella Flu Covid documentation TB test and TDAP.
