We are partnering with a global investment management firm that is expanding its European hub in Dublin. This firm is committed to providing professional portfolio management services to high-net-worth private clients and they are looking to add a QFA-qualified Investment Counsellor to their growing team.

1. QFA Qualification is Required
This role requires you to have or be working towards QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) certification. The QFA qualification ensures youre well-versed in Irish financial regulations and client suitability.
2. Client-Focused Not Sales
You will not be involved in direct sales or cold calling. This is a relationship management role focused on client education and service. You will manage long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients and help them understand their investments.
3. Investment Strategy is Managed Centrally
You will not be making investment decisions. The firms central Investment Policy Committee manages the portfolios. Your role is to explain investment strategies to clients and keep them informed about market developments.
The Role
As an Investment Counsellor you will be the main point of contact for clients once their portfolios are established. Your job is to ensure clients feel confident in their investments and continue to receive outstanding service.
Your responsibilities include:
Speaking regularly with high-net-worth clients
Explaining how their portfolios are performing
Providing updates on market changes and strategy
Building long-term relationships focused on trust and service
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage relationships with high-net-worth clients in Ireland
Provide educational support about the firms investment strategy and market movements
Act as a liaison between clients and internal investment teams
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction ensuring clients are informed and confident in their investments
Participate in ongoing training to keep developing your investment knowledge
About You
QFA qualification required
2 years experience working with high-net-worth clients in wealth management private banking or investment advisory
Comfortable explaining complex financial concepts clearly and confidently
Strong communicator who enjoys building long-term trust-based relationships
Based in Dublin or willing to relocate to Dublin
