WeWork is hiring a CA Articled Assistant as an Industrial Trainee in its Finance Team. The role provides hands-on exposure to GST TDS and income tax compliance along with support for day-to-day finance operations and statutory requirements. The trainee will also work on process audits internal controls SOP documentation and SAP-related troubleshooting and improvements. Depending on business needs exposure to accounting compliance internal audit FP&A and finance transformation initiatives may also be provided.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify process gaps inefficiencies and control weaknesses; recommend practical and scalable improvement solutions.

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP queries and coordinate with the IT/Tech team for report modifications system enhancements and compliance requirements.

• Provide recommendations to improve SAP usability automation and overall user experience.

• Assist in audits and reviews of business processes and internal controls; support identification of gaps and process optimization opportunities.

• Support GST compliance including preparation and filing of monthly and annual GST returns and reconciliation of GST data with books of accounts.

• Review GST invoices assist in determining Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and help resolve GST-related queries and discrepancies.

• Assist in preparation of data workings and documentation for GST and income tax audits assessments notices and support responses to tax authorities

• Support computation verification and filing of TDS returns including reconciliations and resolution of TDS-related issues.

• Assist in data collation and preparation of income tax returns and support assessment of tax implications of business transactions.

• Conduct research on changes in GST and income tax laws and assist in implementation of regulatory updates within systems and processes.

• Contribute to transformation initiatives through data analysis process improvement projects and adoption of industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Must have completed both groups in CA Intermediate level.

• Undergoing CA Articleship.

• Eligibility for Industrial training for a minimum of 12 months without any break.

• Deep knowledge and understanding of relevant tax laws and regulations

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficient with MS Excel ability to handle large data sets.
