Job Summary
- Perform trouble shooting and repairs to both bottling and thermoforming equipment to support packaging operations.
- Change over packaging equipment as stipulated in a production schedule.
- Performs preventive maintenance on packaging and support equipment.
- Initiates work orders in CMMS for repairs and or adjustments to equipment.
- Adhere to Abbvies code of conduct.
- Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
- Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
- Capable of training others on tasks.
- Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
- Fully proficient in their core function performing advanced level tasks.
- Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
- Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
- Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.
- Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
Qualifications :
- HS diploma or GED required.
- 10 yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5 yrs. experience or Associates technical degree.
- 3 yrs. Experience or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools diagnostic tools predictive tools).
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
