What will you be doing
Role Overview
This role sits within the U.S. Food and Beverage commercial organization and leads the Perdue Foods account. The primary focus is driving growth for both Circana and the client by overseeing engagement delivery and execution excellence across all Circana solutions. Success requires strong leadership consultative skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that elevate client ROI.
The position is hybrid based near Salisbury MD (Eastern Shore) with travel approximately twice per month. The role includes people leadership managing a team of 3 direct reports and partnering closely with 2 Client Service team members.
Job Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Growth
- Lead overall engagement for the Perdue Foods account serving as the primary point of contact for all Circana services and delivery.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver measurable business impact.
- Act as a strategic advisor helping clients uncover solutions to challenges they may not have recognized.
- Regularly communicate with client teams and internal stakeholders proactively soliciting feedback to strengthen relationships.
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze and interpret syndicated and point-of-sale (POS) data to provide actionable recommendations aligned with client objectives.
- Deliver insights with speed and clarity leveraging technology to accelerate decision-making.
- Identify business gaps and opportunities recommending analytic approaches that create value.
- Leverage Circanas Unify platform and tools to enable best-in-class execution.
Consultative Leadership
- Apply industry knowledge to develop solutions that address client needs and drive growth.
- Use consultative questioning to test assumptions and challenge the status quo.
- Translate complex issues into clear actionable frameworks for client decision-making.
Impactful Presence
- Present insights and recommendations with poise and adaptability tailoring communication to different audiences.
- Maintain a professional image and become a trusted domain expert across client and internal teams.
Collaboration & Execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and executive leadership to ensure seamless delivery.
- Track and manage multiple work streams adapting to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of execution.
People Management:
- Provide leadership and coaching to 3 direct reports and collaborate with 2 Client Service team members to ensure strong account performance.
Requirements
- 8 years of progressive business experience with a strong understanding of manufacturer and retailer dynamics gained in one or more of the following environments:
- Retailer
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
- Industry research or analytics firms
- Deep expertise in syndicated data analytics and category management including experience with tools such as Circana IRI or NIQ.
- Proven ability to translate complex data and analysis into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Marketing and/or sales experience within CPG or organizations leveraging syndicated or POS data.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing client relationship strategies including architecting business proposals and engaging senior executives across a broad range of CPG issues.
- Track record of driving revenue growth through innovative solutions and strategic thinking.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and work streams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an impactful executive presence; able to convey technical content and analytics in compelling ways to all audiences.
- Leadership experience managing direct reports or leading complex cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors degree in related field.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $140000 - $170000.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
