Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Purpose of the Position:
KSB Pakistan is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial reporting compliance and finance operations for a publicly listed company. The role requires strong coordination with Group/Regional teams and effective governance at the local level.
Key Responsibilities:
Group Reporting & Compliance
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to Group and Regional teams.
Maintain transparency data accuracy and strict adherence to reporting deadlines.
Coordinate with Group on reviews clarifications and audit-related matters.
Local Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
Prepare and present annual and quarterly financial statements as per local regulations.
Ensure compliance with SECP Stock Exchange rules tax laws and corporate governance requirements.
Manage timely completion of internal and external audits.
Finance Operations (Listed Company Requirement)
Oversee payables receivables general ledger banking payroll and fixed assets.
Strengthen cashflow management working capital and internal controls.
Improve financial systems and processes to support efficient operations.
Risk Management Controls & Audit
Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with Group policies.
Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of audit recommendations.
Proactively identify and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
Treasury Tax & Compliance
Lead treasury operations and manage banking relationships.
Oversee all taxation matters including income tax sales tax and withholding tax.
Stakeholder & Matrix Management
Work closely with the CEO Local Board and Regional/Group Controlling teams.
Balance Group expectations with local operational realities.
Build collaborative relationships with Operations Sales HR Supply Chain and other functions.
Strategic Business Partner
Support budgeting forecasting investment cases and long-term planning.
Provide financial insights to the CEO and Board for business decisions.
Ensure financial discipline and governance across the organization.
Experience & Skill Requirements
Candidate must meet one of the following:
Option 1
Minimum 3 years managerial experience in audit accounting or financial/corporate affairs
AND member of ICAP or ICMAP
Option 2
Minimum 5 years managerial experience in audit accounting or financial/corporate affairs
AND either:
Member of an HEC-recognized professional accounting body or
Postgraduate degree in Finance (HEC-recognized)
Option 3
Minimum 7 years managerial experience in audit accounting or financial/corporate affairs
AND a relevant HEC-recognized graduate degree
