Main Duties:
- Spearhead the full recruitment lifecycle (strategy posting screening interviewing selection and onboarding)
- Implement strategies for retention of staff
- Maintain legal compliance with Maltese employment law manage HR documentation contracts and accurate employee records/HRIS data
- Oversee the work/residence permit processes for non-EU/third-country nationals
- Champion employee experience and engagement through initiatives surveys and promoting company values/culture
- Manage employee relations issues grievances and disciplinary actions in collaboration with managers
- Develop and implement employer branding strategies and manage effective internal communication channels
- Supervise accommodation management and prepare HR/Recruitment reports and budgets for management
- Drive and support HR projects focused on engagement certification and continuous improvement
What skills do you need
- Managerial experience (min. 3 years) in HR recruitment or a similar relevant role
- Strong Leadership and Management abilities including Process Management and Managing Change
- Technical knowledge of Maltese Employment Law and in-depth understanding of the permit process and related Authorities
- Demonstrated Business Awareness and a strong Drive for achievement
- Proficiency in using and managing a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Excellent Communication skills with Interpersonal sensitivity and Decidedness
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
