Responsibilities

• Assist with Personal Care: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting

• Provide Companionship and Meaningful Engagement

• Prepare Meals and Assist with Feeding

• Perform Light Housekeeping and Laundry

• Provide Medication Reminders (No Medication Administration)

• Escort Clients to Appointments and Errands

• Assist with Mobility and Ensure Home Safety

• Follow Individualized Care Plans and Document Care Provided

• Observe Report and Communicate Changes in Client Condition

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 Year of Caregiving Experience Required

• Professional Caregiving or Family Caregiving Experience Accepted

• Must Be 18 Years of Age or Older

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

• Reliable Transportation Is Required

• Valid Drivers License Required If Transporting Clients

• Must Be Willing and Able to Travel to All of the Following Areas:
  Huntley Algonquin Cary Elgin South Elgin and Surrounding Areas
  (Applicants Unwilling to Travel to These Locations Will Not Be Considered.)

• Must Pass Background Screening

• Compassionate Dependable and Committed to Quality Care

Preferred (Not Required)

• CPR/ First Aid Certification

• Experience with Dementia or Alzheimers Care

• CNAor HHACertification

• Experience with Mobility Assistance

Qualifications

• Experience Providing In-home Services to Seniors or Enrollment/Completion of a CNAor Nursing Program

• Ability to Work Independently

• Strong Judgment and Decision-making Skills

• Reliable Transportation Between Client Homes
