Position Summary
A well-established aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector for 2nd shift to support inspection operations. This role is responsible for inspecting aerospace components-with fastener experience highly preferred-to ensure compliance with engineering drawings customer requirements and industry standards.
The ideal candidate has prior aerospace inspection experience is detail-oriented and is comfortable working with tight tolerances in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform incoming in-process and final inspections of aerospace components

Inspect aerospace hardware and fasteners to engineering specifications

Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work instructions

Use precision measuring tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and comparators
-
Verify dimensional accuracy workmanship and overall quality
-
Identify and document nonconforming material
-
Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately

Communicate quality issues with production and quality teams
-
Maintain a clean organized and compliant inspection area

Follow all quality safety and company procedures
Required Qualifications

Aerospace quality inspection experience (required)

Experience inspecting aerospace components or hardware

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Proficiency using precision measuring instruments

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Ability to work 2nd shift consistently
Preferred Qualifications

Fastener inspection experience (highly preferred)

Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100 ISO or similar)

Experience with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR / AS9102)
