Mitel sucht einen hochmotivierten Mitarbeiter Datenschutz Koordinator der unser globales Datenschutzteam verstärkt und Mitel bei der Erfüllung seiner Verpflichtungen nach der EU-Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) sowie weiteren geltenden Datenschutzgesetzen unterstü dieser Rolle agieren Sie als zentrale Ansprechperson für interne Teams insbesondere für den Vertrieb und übersetzen komplexe regulatorische Anforderungen in praxisnahe wirtschaftlich sinnvolle Lösungen.

In direkter Zusammenarbeit mit Mitels Chief Compliance Officer und Group Data Protection Officer leisten Sie einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung unserer Datenschutzstrategie. Sie beraten Kolleginnen und Kollegen weltweit unterstützen fundierte Entscheidungsprozesse und arbeiten in einem dynamischen internationalen Umfeld. Aufgaben

• Als Mitarbeiter Datenschutz Koordinator übernehmen Sie insbesondere folgende Aufgaben:

• Zentrale Ansprechperson für Datenschutzthemen durch die Bereitstellung klarer praxisorientierter Beratung für Stakeholder über Geschäftsbereiche und Regionen hinweg

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Vertriebsteams in der DACH-Region einschließlich strategischer Beratung Unterstützung bei Verhandlungen sowie Beantwortung von Datenschutzanfragen von Kunden

• Prüfung interner und externer kommerzieller Verträge mit Fokus auf datenschutzrechtliche Anforderungen

• Beratung zu Datenschutz-Compliance und Risikomanagement sowie Prüfung von Auftragsverarbeitungsverträgen (AVVs) um fundierte und zeitnahe Handlungsempfehlungen sicherzustellen

• Mitwirkung bei der Weiterentwicklung Reifegradsteigerung und Umsetzung von Mitels globalem Datenschutzmanagementprogramm

• Unterstützung bei der Überwachung der internen Compliance und Begleitung der Fachbereiche bei der Umsetzung gesetzlicher Datenschutzanforderungen

• Entwicklung und Pflege von Prozessen Vorlagen und Dokumentationen zur Sicherstellung konformer personenbezogener Datenverarbeitung

• Durchführung von Risikoanalysen (z.B. DSFA/DPIA TIA LIA) Unterstützung im Incident-Response-Prozess sowie Bearbeitung von Betroffenenanfragen

• Pflege und Weiterentwicklung des Verzeichnisses von Verarbeitungstätigkeiten (RoPA)

• Mitwirkung bei internen Audits behördlichen Prüfungen und Compliance-Monitoring-Aktivitäten

• Prüfung neuer Produkte Services Funktionen und Projekte zur Sicherstellung von Privacy by Design und Privacy by Default über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus hinweg

• Beobachtung der globalen datenschutzrechtlichen Entwicklungen und Ableitung entsprechender Handlungsempfehlungen für den DPO

• Förderung von Schulungs- Awareness- und kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsmaßnahmen zur Stärkung der Datenschutzkultur im Unternehmen

Anforderungen

• Fachliche Qualifikationen Erfahrung & Wissen

• Deutsch und Englisch auf muttersprachlichem oder verhandlungssicherem Niveau (schriftlich und mündlich) erforderlich

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium oder vergleichbare berufliche Erfahrung im Bereich Compliance Recht oder Audit; Datenschutz-Zertifizierung von Vorteil

• 15 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Datenschutz Compliance- oder rechtlichen Umfeld

• Interesse an Themen wie Künstliche Intelligenz digitale Ethik und neue Technologien

Overview:

Mitel is seeking a highly motivated Data Protection Coordinator to join our global Data Protection Department and help Mitel meet its obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection laws. Acting as a key advisor to Mitels internal teams particularly our Sales organization you will help translate complex regulatory requirements into practical commercially aligned solutions.

Working directly with Mitels Chief Compliance and Group Data Protection Officer you will play a critical role in shaping our data protection strategy guiding colleagues across the business and influencing decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lively international environment enjoys strategic problem-solving and is passionate about protecting personal data while enabling business growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Protection Coordinator you will be required to:

• Act as a primary point of contact for data protection matters by providing clear actionable guidance to stakeholders across business units and regions.

• Work closely with Mitels Sales teams within the DACH region to provide strategic insights negotiation support and counsel internal stakeholders on customers privacy inquiries;

• Review internal and external commercial contracts with a focus on data protection requirements;

• Advise on data protection compliance risk management and review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to ensure business stakeholders receive accurate and timely guidance;

• Participate in the development maturity and implementation of Mitels global Data Protection Management Program;

• Assist in monitoring internal compliance and helping business functions meet requirements under applicable data protection laws and regulations;

• Develop and maintain processes templates and documentation to support compliant personal data processing activities;

• Perform risk assessments (DPIAs TIAs LIAs) support incident response and manage data subject rights requests;

• Maintain and improve Mitels RoPA;

• Participate in internal audits regulatory inspections and compliance monitoring activities;

• Review new products services features and projects to ensure privacy by design/default principles are incorporated throughout the product lifecycle;

• Monitor global data protection regulatory landscape and make recommendations to the DPO;

• Drive training awareness and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the organizations data protection culture.

Requirements:

Skills Experience & Knowledge

• Native or advanced German and English language skills (written and verbal) are required.

• University degree or equivalent professional experience in compliance legal or audit. (data protection certification is a plus)

• 15 years of experience in data protection compliance or legal.

Capabilities & Mindset

• Excellent communication skills including written guidance and presentation delivery.

• Comfortable working independently and within a global team across various time zones.

• Creative proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to influence change.

• High degree of discretion when handling confidential information.

• Strong knowledge of EU data protection laws and a solid understanding of other key global privacy frameworks.

• Experience in reviewing contracts working with Sales and supporting throughout negotiation and contracting process.

• Ability to advise business stakeholders confidently and translate legal requirements and concepts into practical guidance.

• Curiosity about AI digital ethics and emerging technologies.
