Under the general direction of the Director of Operations this brand new position is part of the events team and will be responsible for fundraising community events and volunteers.
This position is on-site within the Operations Office.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
- Responsible for the successful planning and execution of events from concept to post-event.
- Manage event budgets track progress and conduct evaluations.
- Coordinate with vendors manage logistics and ensure all logistical elements are in place.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive event timelines and project plans to drive attendance.
- Compile and analyze post-event data to assess the events success.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
- A bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field is required. Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of successful event experience. 6-8 years preferred.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment and discretion in line with organizational values.
- Advance communication skills including report preparation and customer service etiquette.
- Ability to organize coordinate and complete projects by established deadlines.
- This position requires some travel so reliable transportation and a valid drivers license are required.
- Must be able to pass a CORI/Background Records check successfully.
- Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Religious and Medical Exemptions are considered.
