Qualifications:
- With a negative Tuberculosis Test
- Previous experience in home care senior care assisted living or healthcare settings preferred
- Compassionate and dedicated caregiver with over 5 years of hands-on experience providing high-quality personal care to elderly and disabled clients in home and facility settings.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and short-notice shifts
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility transfers and daily activities
- Compassionate dependable and patient-centered mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing grooming dressing toileting)
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry dishes tidying living areas)
- Provide medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Adapt to varying client needs and home environments
