Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain scalable high-quality frontend applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
- Implement accessible responsive and performant user interfaces that work seamlessly across browsers platforms and devices.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Apply best practices in web development including clean code testing (Jest Cypress Playwright etc.) and Agile/Lean methodologies (TDD BDD ATDD).
- Contribute to DevOps practices by supporting CI/CD pipelines testing automation and deployment processes.
- Stay current with emerging frameworks and technologies to continuously improve development workflows and product quality.
Qualifications :
- Commercial experience as a Frontend Software Developer
- Best-practices regarding all aspects of web development including design semantic HTML mark-up CSS TypeScript and related technologies.
- Exposure to a variety of JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as: React Redux React-Router and testing with React Testing Library Jest Cypress Playwright Jasmine Enzyme Mocha.
- Awareness and practice of UI performance best practices.
- Understanding and exposure to integrating REST API endpoints.
- Strong experience and understanding of industry standard web accessibility web design & usability; to support sites cross browser/platform/device.
- A desire to write readable maintainable modular and extendable code.
- Exposure to the DevOps model.
- Experience in Lean and Agile environments and understanding of principles behind methodologies such as: BDD ATDD and TDD.
Good-to-have skills:
- Experience of using to create high traffic applications. Perhaps using Sails Koa or similar.
- Experience with Responsive Web Design.
Additional Information :
We are looking for someone based in Budapest Hungary. This role will imply a hybrid working model with few days/week presence at clients office.
