Austin Industrial is seeking an entry-level Helper to join our team at a manufacturing facility in Lincolnton NC. This role provides hands-on support to skilled trades and maintenance personnel ensuring smooth operations and a safe efficient work environment. On-the-job training is provided with opportunities for career growth.
This person must assist skilled trades personnel and maintenance staff at a manufacturing facility. This entry-level role involves onsite support routine maintenance and ensuring operational readiness.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance and production teams with daily operational needs.
- Perform routine checks and inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Support industrial cleanup and housekeeping efforts in production areas following strict safety protocols.
- Transport tools materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hand and power tools (preferred but not required).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience Previous experience as a Helper in the manufacturing industry preferred not required.
- Valid Drivers License
- Meet physical demands as listed above
