Woodston Personnel is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a Consultant General Surgeon to join our esteemed clients surgical team in Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for an experienced and highly skilled surgeon dedicated to providing superior surgical care across a range of general surgical procedures.
The Consultant General Surgeon will be responsible for the assessment diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring surgical intervention. This role entails working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care adhering to best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive range of elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and post-operative management ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists nursing staff and other specialists to formulate individualized patient care plans.
Provide leadership and training to surgical residents and junior staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives clinical audits and research activities to enhance surgical practices and outcomes.
Uphold accurate and detailed medical records ensuring compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures treatment options and aftercare instructions.
Participate in departmental meetings case reviews and professional development activities.
Full time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

Job requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish UK Canadian New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma dEtudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
